Choose one of the acts set up by Britain that was imposed upon the colonists from 1763 to 1775-

Tea Act
Declatory Act
Intolerable Acts
Using a Web 2.0 tool, such as: prezi.com. wix.com, eduglogster.com, xtranormal.com, etc.. Create a digital presentation to explain the following:
1. What is the name of the act and when was it created?
2. What was the purpose of the act? ( what did it tax and why?)
3. Who did it affect? How did they react?
4. What were the consequences of the act?
5. Was the act repealed or changed?
6. Cite the sources you used for your information and any visuals.
Use your textbook, the web and other sources to gather your information. You will have 2 class lab days to do this. It is due on October 2, 2013. It is a project grade.
Summary of this Chapter
Colonists moving westward into the Ohio River valley spurred a reaction by Native Americans led by Pontiac. Colonists arose when the British government attempted to impose taxes on the colonists. Protests over the Stamp Act spread throughout the colonies and led the British to repeal the act. Attempts to enforce writs of assistance and the Boston Massacre infuriated many colonists.
